See the Low Country through Forrest Gump's eyes, on a special water tour of the ACE Basin scheduled for Sunday afternoon, October 25th.
The ACE Basin is one of the largest undeveloped estuaries on the east coast, featuring marshes, streams, and sea islands that are home to dolphins, bald eagles, ospreys, and tropical migrant songbirds.
Leading the tour will be Captain Stan, a retired Coast Guard mariner and local legend who provided boating services for the filming of Forrest Gump.
We'll leave the hotel at 12:30 sharp on Sunday afternoon. Destination is the "Bubba Gump Shrimp" dock in Beaufort, S.C., a 55-mile drive from the hotel.
The tour is organized by Christine Crosley. Space is limited; the tour has a minimum of ten people and a maximum of 29.

Currently the Tour Price is $35 for Adults and $15 for Children 12 and under.
We'll need to carpool from the hotel to the tour dock, so please let Chris know whether you'll have a rental car available for the trip.
